Column Header

The columns of the table are initially displayed in the structure defined by the backend. When using the NWS app, the order of the columns can be temporarily adjusted. To do this, move the mouse pointer over the desired column header, hold the left mouse button, and drag the column to the new position. Once the mouse button is released, the column will be placed at the new position. The checkbox and ID columns are fixed to the right and cannot be rearranged. Similarly, any columns that are fixed to the left or right will remain in their positions.

The column headers contain the following information and functions:

Optionally, a key symbol may appear at the start. This symbol indicates that this column is used as a key field when accessing the table. Next is the characteristic name, which defines the format of the column. Following this, an "i" symbol for information appears. When hovering the mouse over it, an APPtip displays important details about the characteristic or format, such as type and number of digits. Moving the mouse further to the right reveals two additional icons:

  • An up/down arrow: Clicking this icon sorts the column content in ascending or descending order.
  • Three dots: Clicking this icon opens a context menu. In addition to the familiar functions, options like "Pin Left" and "Pin Right" are available to fix the column in its position, which is useful for large tables. To unpin the column, open the context menu again and select the "Unpin" option with the primary mouse button.
